Flower Girl

Whoa...I certainly did not mean to take such a long blog hiatus.  It just happened and I'm sorry to our loyal followers (shout out to Grammy, Grandma, Theresa, Ashley, and Megan!).

A few weekends ago Violet was a flower girl in my friend Jen's wedding.  It was a great trip and fun to see so many friends.  Violet did a great job all things considered. I was definitely worried!  Most importantly, two great people found each other and exchanged vows in a beautiful ceremony and celebrated in style afterward!

Yay family shot!

Love these girls!

Going to this wedding made us feel as though we've been married for so long!

Natalie helping Violet clean up the flowers.  If it weren't for sweet Natalie holding her hand I don't think Violet would have made it down the aisle.  The girls were so cute together!

Jen made them both super cute gift bags with fun stuff to do while we hung out at the church.  Sunglasses were a great idea!

Checking herself out.  Can you guys see them?  Look closer!  The sparkly shoes.  Sparkly TOMS!!  It was the wedding gift for everyone in the wedding party.  Amazingly cute and comfy.

Waiting for pictures...

Taking a rest before the ceremony.  My girl was up at 5:30 and the ceremony started at 2:30. No nap.  Yikes.

Is my friend Joni the cutest pregnant bridesmaid you have ever seen?  She is due in less than 2 months, ya'll. And it's her 3rd!

Ashley!  Love this woman! Her mom made the flower girl dresses and they were so lovingly made and well-crafted.  It will be a treasure for us to hold onto it for V!

The most beautiful bride. She was seriously glowing. So sweet.
After going crazy during the ceremony and alternating between crying and laughing, she totally passed out on a church pew.  Full lights on, people taking pictures and walking by, and us taking her picture did not make her flinch.  I carried her out and to the car, transferred her to my mom's bed, and she slept until we woke her up to go to the reception.  It was a long and fun day for everyone.  So glad we were a part of everything!
