Adventure!

 Last week Violet and I went on a super fun adventure!  She has been asking a lot lately about the Metro a.k.a. the "tiny choo choo."  We can see it when we walk home from the pool and one time we dropped off Daddy so he could go to a Cardinal's game.  I told her we would take a special adventure someday and ride on it.  She's been on the Metro a few times before but she was too little to remember.  We finally had a free day and decided to go on our adventure.  In short, she LOVED it! We will definitely have to ride on it again soon.

She was very interested in the doors opening and closing, the driver, and the people getting on and off.

We rode the tiny choo choo to Clayton.  We walked the few blocks to Shaw park and played on the playground for a little while.

We were surprised to find out that they had a splash pad!  It was wonderful because even though we left early it was getting super hot.

She had to dry off a little bit before we could go back on the Metro.  The breeze from being in this humongous swing helped out :-)

Making music

She was definitely more brave on the way home!  She was pointing out things she saw out the window and thought it was cool to be up to high.  Every time the driver said "westbound to Shrewsbury" she would tell me what Vivi, mommy, and daddy live in Shrewsbury!
